In Practice

2026 Supply Chain Gals Case Competition — 1st Place

Competing against graduate-level teams from across the country, Madeline led Group 5 to first place in the Supply Chain Gals 2026 Case Competition, a rigorous, multi-round event judged by senior supply chain executives from Glossier, PepsiCo, Microsoft, Home Depot, and Mitsubishi Power.

The team was tasked with diagnosing and resolving a full-scale supply chain crisis for a fictional prestige beauty brand - navigating a natural disaster disruption, a viral brand crisis, and a major retail penalty clause, with $65M–$77M in financial exposure at stake. Their solution identified $57.1M in annual value creation and a $24.4M one-time cash release through supply chain optimization, demand sensing, SKU rationalization, and trade compliance strategy.

MBA Capstone — Invest(her) Sourcing Strategy

For her MBA capstone at the University of Memphis, Madeline developed a full end-to-end sourcing strategy for Invest(her), a fictional financial planning product company built around empowering women. The project spanned every phase of the sourcing lifecycle, from product description and purchase requirements to market analysis, supplier identification, and final selection.

The work went beyond cost and logistics. At its core, the strategy was built around ethics and sustainability, evaluating suppliers not just on price and lead time, but on their corporate social responsibility practices, labor standards, and environmental impact. The project also included a total cost of ownership analysis, transportation planning, contract summarization, and a risk assessment with mitigation strategies including a dual-supplier model, fixed-price contract terms, and buffer stock planning.

The capstone reflected the same values that Everchain Solutions was founded on: that a well-built supply chain doesn't just move goods efficiently, it reflects what a company stands for.

This is the standard every engagement is held to.
